I recently got a 1g preroll of Super Lemon Haze from Happy Valley in Gloucester, Massachusetts. The first thing I noticed with this preroll is that the hits were very harsh. My throat became sore almost immediately. That said, it wasn’t the worst thing in the world. A lot of smokers, including myself, enjoy a mild ‘harsh smoke in my lungs’ feeling.

In my opinion, Super Lemon Haze really shines when it comes to flavor. It does hit all the right citrus notes. Many citrus-based strains can often have a soapy/cleaning product aftertaste. I thought that Super Lemon Haze had one of the most natural-tasting citrus flavors of any strain I have tried.

As for the high, I felt that it was your run-of-the-mill Sativa-dominant hybrid high. I felt lifted and creative. I smoked this preroll with a friend, but I think I would have enjoyed it more if I was alone working on creative projects.

Overall, Super Lemon Haze is a pretty good strain. Due to the harshness, I wouldn’t want to smoke this regularly. However, it is a very fun and delicious ride. This is the first product I have tried from Happy Valley, and I look forward to trying more of their cannabis products in the future.
