Do You Ship CBD To My State?
The short answer is: yes, we definitely ship to your state.
The long answer is… prior to December 2018, we would not have shipped to your state. Or any state. That’s because Kushy Dreams wouldn’t have been able to exist. We’ll explain.
Splitting Cannabis In Two
Cannabis is made up of a variety of compounds called cannabinoids. The two most common are CBD (Cannabidiol) and THC (Tetrahydrocannabinol.) THC is psychoactive and that explains the cannabis high.
Then cannabis is split into two categories because of those cannabinoids: hemp and marijuana.
Hemp is cannabis with under 0.3% THC (technically Delta 9 THC) and it was legalized at the federal level thanks to the USDA Farm Bill of 2018. Marijuana is cannabis with over 0.3% Delta 9 THC.
All of our products are cannabis that is hemp but not marijuana. If you’re looking to get high, CBD alone won’t do it.
The Farm Bill
The main thing that the Farm Bill did for the hemp industry was allow it to exist in the first place. That’s why hemp is now legal in the United States, Washington D.C., Puerto Rico, and all other U.S. territories and possessions.
For the first time hemp and hemp seeds were no longer considered to be equal to marijuana under the DEA schedule of Controlled Substances (and no longer were the federal penalties for marijuana and hemp the same.)
The bill also permitted for the transfer of hemp and hemp-derived products across state lines. Your local laws may regulate CBD/hemp differently within the state, but that doesn’t have any bearing on what ships from other states.
CBD-Rich Hemp Flower
All of our products are compliant with the Farm Bill because all of our CBD-rich hemp contains under 0.3% Delta 9 THC. If you’d like to know more about what you’re smoking, all of our products (well, except the t-shirt) have Certificates of Analysis (COAs) that detail exactly what cannabinoids (and in what percentages) are found in our eighths and pre-roll joints. Each analysis is performed by an independent laboratory.
Legalize it? They did. And that’s why we ship to your state.
We currently don’t ship to any countries other than the USA.
