So what is Delta-8?
Both marijuana and hemp are cannabis, and all cannabis is made up of compounds called cannabinoids. The two most common are CBD (Cannabidiol) and THC (Tetrahydrocannabinol.) If you’re on this website you already know about the wonders of CBD. And if you’ve lived on Earth you -- or someone you know -- has experienced THC.
Delta-8 THC is a psychoactive cannabinoid found in the cannabis plant. It continues to rise in popularity because of its similarity to cannabis’ best-known cannabinoid: Delta-9 THC.
Delta-9 THC is what makes weed weed. It’s known for causing euphoria, happiness, the munchies, relief, laughing at dumb stuff, and more. (While CBD is a cannabinoid it is not psychoactive.)
Delta-8 consumers report many of the same effects as THC. In other words: Delta-8 will get you high.
The difference is in potency. Delta-8 is said to be smoother and milder than standard marijuana (this is as much a warning as a prediction.) Many people prefer these smoother, milder effects as Delta-8 is a weaker intoxicant.
Many Delta-8 consumers report that its side effects may be similar to marijuana-- dry mouth, red eyes, paranoia, anxiety… the normal mix of THC side effects. However, like the highs, the lows are said to be milder and less potent.
Beyond that, Delta-8 as an isolated cannabinoid is pretty new. There needs to be more long-term research on it and its effects on the mind and body.
Federally in the United States, Delta-8 that is sourced from hemp (like ours) can be legally grown because of the 2018 Farm Bill. However, there may be additional restrictions at your state or local level. However, cannabinoid legality at the state and local level is regularly changing. Please check your local laws and restrictions before ordering.

Strength depends on things like how much you consume and your tolerance. For moderate or experienced marijuana smokers, Delta-8 will feel much weaker than regular THC.
To be honest: we don’t know (though failing seems likely.) However, our suggestion is:
If you have a drug test (or the threat of one) coming up it’s probably for a good reason like work, family, court, etc. We don’t want you to risk making things difficult, so we’d rather you have a good, happy life than take your money. And maybe one day things will change and we can share happy times together.

The primary difference is intoxication: Delta-8 pre-rolls are psychoactive and CBD pre-rolls are not.
Where they are similar is that our KD8 Delta-8 pre-rolls contain high levels of CBD.
